Read "the joy of reading and writing" by Sherman Alexie (35-29) and "learning to read " by Malcolm x (29-36).
Write a source comparison essay following these guidelines:
In an essay of your own,compare the two essays.focus on two significant points of similarity and /or difference.
In your introduction,introduce both sources in a clear and interesting way . Include each author's full name and essay title. End your introduction paragraph with a directly stated statement articulates your "key points" or "whole to whole "
organization.
Use at least one quotation from each source essay. Incorporate both quotations using correct quotation style and punctuation.
In your conclusion , elaborate on the meaning or purpose of these essays . How or why Is the authors' experience with reading and writing relevant to your own life?
